Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Vespez when you create an account or use the service.
1. Who we are
Vespez is operated by an individual founder, based in Norway ("Vespez", "we"). You can reach us at support@vespez.com. By creating an account or using Vespez you agree to these terms.
2. What Vespez does
Vespez scans public web pages for likely security and GDPR compliance issues, gives two scores, explains each finding and, on Pro, re-scans your sites after deploys and alerts you to changes and to official publications that match your sites.
Vespez identifies likely issues. It is not legal advice and does not guarantee that a site is secure or legally compliant. Parts of the reports and summaries are written by AI and can be wrong or incomplete. Check important findings yourself and consult a qualified professional before relying on them.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- You must give a real email address and verify it.
- Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- One person or business per account. Do not create several accounts to get around plan limits.
4. Acceptable use
You may scan sites you own or are allowed to test. You must not:
- use Vespez to harm, overload or gain unauthorised access to any site or system;
- try to scan private, internal or local addresses;
- get around scan limits, rate limits or ownership verification;
- resell or republish Vespez's output as your own service, or copy the service;
- use Vespez in any way that breaks the law.
Automatic monitoring is only available for sites you have proven you own. We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
5. Plans
- Free: one scan per month, with all findings visible.
- Pro: $19 per month or $180 per year, with the features listed on the pricing page. Fair-use limits apply, such as a maximum number of scans per hour and per network per day.
6. Paying for Pro
- Payment is handled by Stripe. Prices are in US dollars; taxes may be added where they apply.
- Your subscription renews automatically each month or year until you cancel.
- You can cancel anytime from Settings → Manage billing. You keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for, and you are not charged again.
- All payments are non-refundable. The Free plan lets you try Vespez before paying.
- Right of withdrawal. If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. Pro starts as soon as you pay. At checkout you are asked to expressly agree that the service starts immediately and to acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once it has started.
- If a payment fails, Stripe will retry. If it keeps failing, your account returns to Free.
- We may change prices. We will tell you by email at least 30 days before a new price applies to you, and you can cancel before it does.
Nothing in this section limits rights that the law gives you and that cannot be waived.
7. Your content and ours
The reports Vespez creates for you are yours to use, including sharing them with clients. The Vespez service, software, name and design remain ours. A share link shows a report to anyone who has the link; you decide who gets it and can switch it off at any time.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep Vespez running and accurate but provide it "as is", without a guarantee that it will always be available or free of errors. We may change or remove features; if a change to a paid plan matters to you, you can cancel at any time.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, Vespez is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, fines or claims arising from your use of the reports, or from issues that a scan did not find. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
10. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time under Settings; this cancels any subscription and permanently deletes your data, as described in the Privacy Policy. We may close an account that breaks these terms, after a warning where that is reasonable.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Norway. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live, and you can bring a dispute before the courts there. Please email support@vespez.com first; most problems can be solved quickly that way.
12. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we update the date at the top and tell you by email before the change takes effect. If you keep using Vespez after that, the new terms apply.
